When Tori moved to Charleston she was scared but excited. Knowing all of 2 people who would live in the same city as her she was most nervous that it would be hard to make new friends. Luckily out of her few connections here she managed to forge her own path into a group of people who lived on Isle Of Palms.

As many know, Ryan was an Isle of Palms native for around 10 years and their paths couldn't help but cross. It could have been at the windjammer, the dinghy, or home team that they ran into each other but somehow their first meeting was on Ryan's own boat!

At the time, Ryan had a boat captain who was working for the Holy City Anglers on fishing charters. His boat captain so happened to be part of the friend group Tori fell into after moving down to the low country.

One evening, Tori was invited to a sunset boat ride to the best spot in town, Shem Creek. That was an offer she couldn't resist so her and few of her girl friends made their way to the marina. Upon arrival, there were a few new faces she hadn't met, one of them being Ryan.

Now this isn't where their love story begins, however this was the start of their close friendship. For the next several months, Ryan and Tori would hang out with their friend groups on the weekends. They went to several concerts, a few regattas, and spent several afternoons hanging out on the deck at the dinghy.

As their friendship continued to grow so did both of their feelings, and one day Ryan bit the bullet and let Tori in on how he really felt about her. It was July 3rd to be exact. It didn't take much longer for them to begin dating and continuing to spend all of their time together.

After two years of dating and Tori excessively hinting at a proposal, Ryan popped the question at their favorite spot on Sullivans Island. It was an immediate yes, and now the next chapter of their story begins alongside their 3 perfect fur babies!
